Bible conference in Goodlettsville to explore second coming of Christ

JACKSON, Tenn.April 29, 2009 – Union University’s Hendersonville campus will sponsor a Bible conference on the second coming of Christ May 7 at First Baptist Church in Goodlettsville.

“The Second Coming of Christ: How Christ’s Return Should Shape Life” will feature keynote speakers Gregory A. Thornbury, dean of Union’s School of Christian Studies, and Ray Van Neste, associate professor of Christian Studies and director of Union’s R.C. Ryan Center for Biblical Studies.

The conference will begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at 2 p.m. Registration is free, and a free continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. To register, call (615) 447-0401 or e-mail srussell@uu.edu.

The event is co-sponsored by the Tennessee Baptist Convention and the Baptist associations of Middle Tennessee.
