JACKSON, Tenn. – Oct. 29, 2009 – A family-friendly tailgate party, a new class of Sports Hall of Fame inductees and the class of 1960’s 50-year reunion will be the key features for Union University’s 2009 Homecoming week Nov. 2-7.
A special event kicking off this year’s Homecoming festivities will be the Lady Bulldogs’ exhibition basketball game against Vanderbilt Oct. 30 at 7 p.m. at Vanderbilt’s Memorial Gymnasium. Union University alumni in the Nashville area are invited to stop by the booster room during halftime.

Several academic departments, including chemistry, continuing studies, biology, sociology and family studies, psychology, Christian studies and communication arts will also hold reunion events for their alumni during the weekend.

Due to inclement weather, all Union campuses will be closed on Friday, March 6, with all classes canceled.
The wellness center will open at 10 a.m. and close at 8 p.m., and the aquatic center will be open from 1-3 p.m.
Friday's Preview Day has been canceled.
Brewer Dining Hall will be open from 11 a.m.-5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Lex will be closed. No breakfast will be served.
