12 GO teams to minister during spring break

JACKSON, Tenn.March 18, 2011 – Twelve Global Outreach teams consisting of about 130 Union University students and team leaders will minister in a variety of settings over spring break from March 18-27.

The GO teams include six domestic teams and six international teams, going to Boston, Kansas, Illinois, Nashville, Memphis, Providence, R.I., Guatemala, Honduras, Romania, Ukraine and Central Asia.

Julie Bradfield, Union’s director of student mobilization, requested prayer for the Union teams for a few distinct needs.

“Please pray that the teams would be bold in speaking the gospel and living it out,” Bradfield said.

She also said supporters could pray for safety in travel and for the ministries with which the Union teams will be working.

In addition to the spring break teams, Union sent out teams in January to Botswana, East Asia, Germany and Israel. This summer, GO teams will visit the Philippines, Central Asia and the Middle East.
