JACKSON, Tenn. – Sept. 29, 2011– About 250 families of Union University students will visit campus Sept. 30-Oct. 2 for Family Weekend 2011.
“Family Weekend is a great opportunity for families to come and get a glimpse into the lives of their college student,” said Jarad Russell, assistant resident director of the Heritage Complex at Union. “We offer a lot of events that allow parents to experience Union culture and to meet some of the people that are living life with their son or daughter.”
As part of Family Weekend, parents and siblings can attend classes with their Union students, attend optional workshops, and visit their students’ rooms. Other events that are part of the weekend:
