Beeson’s Smith to speak at Union Sept. 6-7

JACKSON, Tenn. – Sept. 6, 2012– Robert Smith, professor of preaching at Beeson Divinity School in Birmingham, Ala., will speak at Union University Sept. 6-7 at various events.

He will be the featured speaker Sept. 6 at the Ministers Appreciation Banquet held in the Carl Grant Events Center at 6:30 p.m. This event is provided at no charge for West Tennessee ministers and their spouses.

On Sept. 7, Smith will speak in chapel at Union at 10 a.m. That afternoon at 2 p.m., he will hold a preaching workshop in the Carl Grant Events Center for area pastors.

Smith will also speak Sept. 9 in the morning worship service at First Baptist Church in Jackson.
