Registration open for summer youth physics program

JACKSON, Tenn.May 31, 2005 – Union University will offer a summer physics program for students entering grades 7-9.

“Adventures in Physics” will run June 20-24 from 1-4 p.m. each day. Union University physics professors Kyle Hathcox and David Ward will conduct the program, which will expose participants to a variety of topics and activities, including many hands-on experiments and demonstrations.

A $125 registration fee covers materials, refreshments and a T-shirt. Enrollment is limited to 15 students and the class is expected to fill.
