Youth Intern at First Presbyterian Church of Jackson

•Internship Objective: work closely and enthusiastically with Junior and Senior High students through planning activities, leading Youth Group meetings, and developing healthy Christ-centered relationships. o The candidate will be responsible for primary leadership of Wednesday night and Sunday night youth meetings. o Wednesday and Sunday youth meetings will generally be a healthy blend of fun activities and scripturally based education/discussion. The balance of these activities will be determined by the candidate in close consultation with the Youth Ministry Team. o The candidate will be expected to attend monthly Youth Ministry Team meetings. o The candidate will be provided meals free of charge on Wednesday and Sunday nights. o The candidate will be expected to participate on occasion in off-campus youth events/trips. The candidate’s expenses will be paid for by the church. o The candidate will be expected to attend worship at First Presbyterian Church. o The candidate will receive primary guidance from Sharon Junn, the supervisor. The candidate will meet with Sharon at least once a month to discuss issues related to our youth program.
