Youth Intern at Bethel Baptist Church

Youth Ministry Intern: Will assist in the planning, implementation and evaluation of: o Youth Activities at Bethel o Elevate Sunday Small Groups o 6th Grade Vacation Bible School (New incoming 7th graders) o Student Mission Trip – World Changers, Birmingham AL o Student Float Trip – Huzzah Valley Resort, Steelville MO o Formal and Informal Activities Designed to Help Our Teens Grow Spiritually o Outreach, Fellowship and Service Activities o Creative Contact Work o Prayer Ministry For and With Students

Length of Employment: Twelve weeks from Sunday, May 25, 2014 until Sunday, August 17, 2014. (Flexibility if your school schedule demands it.)

Terms of Employment: Compensation for this position will be $3600 for 12 weeks. This will be paid out bi-weekly throughout the summer. Intern will be responsible for all tax withholdings. Housing will be provided, if needed. Must have own transportation. Employment will also be contingent upon completion of a personal and criminal background check. Deadline for submitting initial applications is Sunday, March 16, 2014. Selection of Intern will be made by March 30, 2014.
