Teach Sunday School from 10-10:45 a.m. on Sundays and lead in worship such as children's sermon, prayer, etc. from 11 a.m.-noon. Lead youth group on Wednesday nights from 6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. As schedule, allows be available to visit youth, lead in youth-related ministry events. This is not weekly. The main responsibilities are on Sunday and Wednesday. Whiteville FBC is 40 miles southwest of Union. (Takes about 50 minutes to an hour). It has a progressive mind-set with a traditional style of worship. Youth group needs rebuilding.

Payment would be $90 each time if asked to help out other days. Youth have not been as active this summer. Attended Centrifuge in June. Our last youth minister left in April and we have had different ones help out but few leaders this summer. The church is very supportive of youth minister position. Pastor has been here 17 years. Enrollment of Sunday School is about 80. There are about 12 youth on roll but not that many attend at one time. Candidate needs to be an enthusiastic leader who connects well with them. If pay can be increased, it will be considered. The youth group is mission-minded.
