Dockery addressed friends of Union at the Commencement Services 2008.  “It appeared highly unlikely that we would be here tonight, or that we would find a way to finish the spring semester,” Dockery said in his introductory remarks, referencing the Feb. 5 tornado that decimated the Union campus and caused a two-week interruption in the semester. “By God’s grace, here we are.” - Photo by Morris Abernathy
