What is the purpose of the Hundley Center?
Our academic support mission is three fold:
When is the Hundley Center open?
The Hundley Center is open for tutoring on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 1 pm to 8 pm and on Wednesdays and
Fridays from 1 pm to 5 pm. The Director is available Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 5 pm.
Where is the Hundley Center located?
The Hundley Center is located up the spiral stairs on the second floor of the Emma Waters Summar Library in the PAC.
How do I make an appointment?
To schedule time with the Director or any of our tutors, please click on the “Appointments” link above.
This will take you to our online appointment scheduling site and allow you to view our
tutors and which disciplines we offer.
Who visits the Hundley Center?
Any student who seeks a quiet place to study is free to use the Hundley Center.
We have nine private study rooms and space for an additional thirty people in the
great room. Whether you are struggling to pass a class, want to improve your grade, or simply need to be able to focus
then the Hundley Center is the place for you.
Is there a cost?
All services in the Hundley Center are free of charge!
Can you describe a typical tutoring session?
The session will begin with an informal discussion about your class, major, and academic frustrations. We use an inquiry
based system to help figure out what each individual student needs to meet their academic goals. The tutor exists to provide
direction, encouragement, and clarity. Our primary goal, however, is to create independent learners.
