As fall quickly approaches, we wanted to remind you of upcoming Keystone events.
The first will occur on Friday, August 16, during New Student move-in. We would like you to join us for breakfast that day at 8:00 a.m. with a mandatory Keystone meeting to follow. This breakfast meeting will provide information and material to help understand Union University’s policies and procedures, as well as specific aspects regarding the Keystone program. It will be in the Grant Events Center. This meeting will conclude before the time to move your student into the dorms. Please be sure to RSVP for the breakfast by August 9. In your RSVP, please include the name of your student and the number of people who will be attending (your student and up to three guests). Contact Mrs. Abernathy at firstname.lastname@example.org or 731-661-5995.
The second big event will be the first day of classes on August 20. We are excited to start the year off with your student by having them in the Keystone Gateway class that meets at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday the 20th.
The third event will be the start of your Keystone student's weekly meetings during the week of August 26th. These meetings will address classes, management of time, and your student's adjustment to the Union community and campus life.
We are excited to get started and look forward to a wonderful year with your student! Please refer to this page monthly for updates on events/academic expectations and words of encouragement.
All our best to you as we begin this adventure together.
