Job Title: Videographer (Full-time intern and seasonal hire)

Dates for seasonal hire: May 20,2012-August 10. 2013

Dates for full-time Intern hire: January 1, 2013 (negotiable)

Job Description: The videographer is responsible for shooting/producing video and managing audio needs. Video will involve high-adventure recreation/action, sermons, music, special events, dramas. The videographer will be equally capable of client interviews/story-telling and camp store "commercials". Audio will include sound engineering and Power Point. Applicant must be an evangelical Christian, adhering to the mission and philosophy of Snowbird Outfitters and agreeing to the statement of faith.

Reports to Marketing/Promotions Director

Duties and Responsibilities:

Shoot all events during each week of summer camp

Provide video as needed (at least one per week during summer), applying the best combination of quality and quick turnaround.

Compile accurate caption information

Capture, edit, prioritize, produce each video segment up to 20 minutes in length.

Create sermon videos with audio.

Organize, train, delegate to and communicate with video assistants.

Manage sound equipment during sessions.

Record sound using audio equipment for podcast.

Duties and responsibilities may change as a result of business needs.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Previous experience as a videographer at a company or organization, as a staff member or intern.

Experience with professional level Video Cameras (Canon 3 T3i HD at minimum)

Ability to create detailed video on deadline

Willingness to work overtime as necessary

Ability to use editing software such as Final Cut Pro and Adobe Photoshop

Ability to adapt in a changing media and technology landscape.

Technology and/or audio experience preferred.

For on-site use, job will provide iMac desktop and MacBok Pro laptop computers, editing software, office space, T3i/T2i HD cameras and GoPro Hero3 POV camera.
