If a member of the Union University community has reason to believe that a student who resides in on-campus housing is missing, he or she should immediately notify Union Safety and Security at 731-394-2922. Upon receiving a missing person's report, it is Union's policy to notify the Jackson Police Department at 731-425-8432.
All students are required to provide emergency contact information prior to enrolling for classes each semester. Union University will notify a student's emergency contact no later than 24 hours after the student is determined to be missing. A student's emergency contact information will be accessible only by authorized campus officials and law enforcement.
