A WIDE PATH OF DAMAGE STRETCHES ACROSS WEST AND MIDDLE TENNESSEE.
DESTROYING PROPERTY AND CLAIMING LIVES.
PLUS.MOTHER NATURE WASN'T JUST PICKING ON THE VOLUNTEER STATE THIS WEEK-END.
SEVERAL OTHER AREAS AROUND THE NATION ARE ALSO PICKNIG UP THE PIECES AFTER VIOLENT STORMS.
AND.IT LOOKS LIKE SOMETHING LEFT OVER FROM A *FRY DADDY*.BUT SOME PEOPLE ARE USING IT FOR MORE THAN COOKING.
THEY CLAIM.IT'S A *DO-IT-YOURSELF* WAY TO SAY GOOD-BYE TO THE GAS PUMP FOREVER.

MANY WEST TENNESSEEANS SPENT THEIR SUNDAY PICKING UP DEBRIS AND TRYING TO GET BACK TO NORMAL.
FOR MOST.IT WAS ONLY MINOR DAMAGE.
BUT UNFORTUNATELY A TORNADO IN CARROLL COUNTY NOT ONLY DAMAGED PROPERTY. IT TOOK THE LIFE OF AN ELDERLY WOMAN.
ERICA FOX HAS MORE FROM JUST OUTSIDE HUNTINGDON.

WITH WINDS UP TO ONE HUNDRED THIRTY MILES AN HOUR THAT

ITS BEEN A ROLLER COASTER RIDE FOR MANY RESIDENTS IN THE BELLS COMMUNITY.
AUTHORITIES IN CROCKETT COUNTY DID REPORT HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS THIS EVENING.
BUT THE BELLS NURSING HOME WAS PROBABLY HIT HARDEST.
LAST NIGHT JUST BEFORE 10 PM THERE WERE REPORTS OF SOMETHING RIPPING THROUGH THE BELLS NURSING HOME.THAT SOMETHING WAS LATER CONFIRMED AS A TORNADO.
HEAVY RAINS.HIGH WINDS AND THE THREAT OF ANOTHER POSSIBLE TORNADO CAUSED EMERGENCY WORKERS TO MOVE QUICKLY TO GET EVERYONE TO A TEMPORARY SHELTER.
THE ROOF WAS KNOCKED IN AND POWER LINES WERE DOWN ALL AROUND THE BUILDING.
THANKFULLY THERE WERE NO SERIOUS INJURIES.
AT DAYBREAK.RESIDENTS WERE TRANSPORTED FROM THE TEMPORARY SHELTER TO A SECURE LOCATION.
AND AT THIS HOUR EMERGENCY WORKERS SAY EVERYTHING HAPPENED SO FAST. IT'LL TAKE TIME TO SORT OUT WHAT'S NEXT.
