Cushman was chosen to serve on the committee due to her exemplary and innovative instructional leadership in Tennessee. In response to being chosen, Cushman states, “I was delighted to receive an invitation to serve on the newly formed Supervisor Evaluation Advisory Council. The opportunity to collaborate with other educators is always a rewarding professional experience. Dr. Fleming’s vision for the development of a supervisor evaluation rubric will provide much needed support to district-level supervisors across Tennessee.”
Cushman is a relatively new professor in Union’s School of Education, having started her work at Union Fall 2014 semester.
