
July 3, 2014 - Dr. Dwaun J. Warmack has been chosen to serve as the new president of Harris-Stowe State University. Dr. Warmack earned his doctor of education degree in Educational Leadership with a specialization in Higher Education from Union University’s School of Education in 2011.
Prior to being appointed to his new position as president, Dr. Warmack served as senior vice president for administration and student services at Bethune-Cookman University. Dr. Warmack also previously served as an associate dean at Rhodes College.
In relation to his new appointment, Dr. Womack states, “I would not have been able to achieve this highly significant appointment without the solid educational foundation that I received from Union . . . The people there were transformational to me.”
