Two History Students in Teacher Education Program Honored at Appreciation Tea

Nov 19, 2014 -

Graduating history majors Kenton Evans and Shelby Pace, both in the history department’s teacher education program, were among the honorees at a Teacher Appreciation Tea held on November 19, 2014, in the School of Education. Evans and Pace both spent half the fall semester teaching at a local middle school and the other half teaching at an area high school. They received pumpkins with their initials on them as a part of the reception recognitions. Dr. Stephen Carls represented the history department faculty at the event. Union’s Student Teacher Education Association and the Education Preparation Program sponsored the event.
