Feb 15, 2015 - Union’s Delta-Psi chapter of Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society sponsored a special dinner at Dr. Stephen Carls’s home on February 15, 2015, to launch the group’s spring semester activities. Nineteen people participated in the early bird dinner that included tomato basil soup, beef tenderloin, roasted potatoes, a tossed salad, red velvet cake, Ms. Walewska cream cake, freshly baked dinner rolls, and home-made corn bread. In a brief program, several Phi Alpha Theta members who recently graduated from Union talked about their activities since graduation as well as their future plans. Some of the attendees at the dinner will be initiated into Phi Alpha Theta on February 24. Several history department faculty members also took part in the dinner.
