Mar 12, 2016 - Several members of Delta-Psi chapter of Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society attended the annual pancake breakfast that the Jackson Old Hickory Rotary Club held on March 12, 2016. The chapter also sponsored an ad that appeared on many of the breakfast place mats. Phi Alpha Theta members who participated were Beth Adams, Allen Bradley, Lauren Geary, Kathryn Mitchell, Olivia Winters, Dr. Stephen Carls, and Dr. Alice-Catherine Carls.
The money that the Jackson Old Hickory Rotary Club raised from the pancake breakfast will go for local community projects. These include: scholarships for graduating high school seniors; Thanksgiving meals for more than 250 families; Youth Town; the Madison County Imagination Library Program; the Madison Haywood Developmental Center; and support for an international student studying at a local high school.
