Aug 29, 2016 - The history department held its annual welcome reception for history majors and minors at the home of Dr. Stephen Carls on August 29, 2016. Students used the opportunity to visit with history faculty members – all full-time historians were there – and to mix with classmates, new and old. The 25 people who attended enjoyed a relaxed, friendly atmosphere in balmy, humid weather. Food items included roast pork, chocolate chip cookies, chips and hummus, fresh fruit, blueberry tartelettes, chocolate candies, and iced fruit tea.
