Oct 10, 2016 - The Rutledge Honorary History Club initiated four new members at its fall plenary meeting on October 10, 2016. Club President Kathryn Mitchell conducted the induction ceremony for Lauren Butler, Jessa Potts, Emily Summers, and Jeff Williams. Dr. Terry Lindley, the club’s faculty advisor, presented them with their certificates of membership.
In other business, the club agreed to participate in a Phi Alpha Theta/History Department-sponsored community service project at Salem Cemetery in Beech Bluff on November 1, have a pizza party/movie night on December 2, and pursue the purchase of club T-shirts. Refreshments were served at the meeting.
