Phi Alpha Theta Members Participate in Scholarship Symposium

Apr 25, 2017 - Three student members of Union’s Delta-Psi chapter of Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society presented papers at the Union University Scholarship Symposium on April 25, 2017. Representing the history department was Seth Reid, who spoke on “The Fall of Tenochtitlan: The Difficult Distinction between Civil War and Conquest.” Appearing at the same session was Katherine Cheshire who, in her role as a communication arts student, presented a paper on “A Quantitative Analysis Concerning Race Relations.” The third student was Beth Adams, who delivered a paper as a part of her English major on “Cataloguing and Curating the Roger Uselton Collection of Ancient and Biblical Coins.” All three students had very interested audiences attend their presentations.
