Mar 16, 2019 - Union’s Delta-Psi chapter of Phi Alpha Theta supported the Jackson Old Hickory Rotary Club’s annual pancake breakfast fundraiser on March 16, 2019, through the attendance of several members at the function and the purchase of an ad that, along with those of other sponsors, appeared on many breakfast placemats. Chapter President Lauren Butler represented the Delta-Psi student members at the event. Other Phi Alpha Theta members in attendance included Dr. Stephen Carls, Dr. Alice-Catherine Carls, and Robert Briley. Briley’s wife Brenda also participated.
The Old Hickory Rotary Club financially supports many worthy causes. They include: scholarships to Madison County high school seniors (Mike Powers Scholars); the Madison Academic High School Decathlon Team; Rotary Youth Leadership Awards; annual Thanksgiving baskets; the Imagination Library; the Regional Inter-Faith Association; the Rotary International Youth Exchange Student Program; the Rotary Foundation; the Therapy and Learning Center; and an annual Veterans Day program.
