Nov 11, 2019 - The Rutledge Honorary History Club held its fall plenary meeting on November 11, 2019. Attendees chose November 21 as the date for the club’s upcoming pizza party/movie night and voted to watch Alfred Hitchcock’s 1948 crime thriller Rope starring James Stewart. The party will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Jones Suite conference room of the PAC.
President Leah Atkins presided at the meeting that eight people attended. Two new members – Braden Barland and Hannah Ratliff – were there, but two other initiates – Christopher Hearn and Darius Mullin – could not come. As a result, it was decided to hold off on the fall initiation ceremony until the pizza party. Others at the plenary meeting were Drs. Henry Allen, Stephen Carls, and Terry Lindley as well as students Taylor Brown and Miles Randall. Refreshments at the event consisted of bagels, orange juice, and coffee.
