Oct 7, 2021 - The Rutledge Honorary History Club met on October 7, 2021, for its fall plenary meeting. Club President Sandra Allen began the meeting by inducting three new members – Seth Blair, Anna Guelcher, and Noah Kea – into the club.
During the business segment of the meeting, the club dealt with several items. The club began by choosing Blair and Guelcher to serve as the club’s two senators on the student senate. Allen then outlined a schedule of fall activities for the club. These included attendance at the Carls-Schwerdfeger History Lectures on October 25, participation with Phi Alpha Theta in a work project at Liberty Garden Park on November 2 as part of Union’s Day of Remembrance activities, a history movie night, and a study night. Two club members unable to attend the meeting were Breanna Edmiston and Abigail Gilbert. The meeting concluded with refreshments.
