Mar 15, 2023 - The Rutledge Honorary History Club combined its spring plenary meeting with its annual movie night on March 15, 2023. Club President Breanna Edmiston presided over the evening’s activities, while Dr. Henry Allen, the club’s faculty advisor, provided refreshments for the occasion.
During the business session, members chose the following individuals as the club’s officers for 2023-2024: Abigail Gilbert, president; Joy Brown, vice president; and Nayelli McDowell, SGA senator.
The attendees then watched the movie Quiz Show that was based on the true story of a 1950s cheating scandal involving the television game show Twenty-One and two contestants, one the eventual whistleblower named Herb Stemple and the other a Columbia University instructor named Charles Van Doren.
