Exercise Science
Account Manager, Master Medical Equipment

"I grew up in Jackson, Tennessee, where I attended the University School of Jackson. During my time at USJ, I was involved in many different clubs and organizations, one of which included YoungLife Club. At the time, several of my YoungLife leaders attended Union. They quickly disproved my idea that Union was 'just a college in my hometown.' I realized it was a great fit for me to not only stay close to home, but also challenge myself academically and spiritually."

"Union's rigorous courses and hands-on teaching styles were pivotal to my future career in the workplace. The professors at Union cared about my success inside and outside of the classroom. The critical thinking skills I learned are invaluable to me in my role as an Account Manager."

"The rigorous academic standards not only challenged me but forced me to be hands-on and give me real-life experience. I knew when I graduated, I was prepared for whatever was in store for me next.""

"Faculty and staff never shy away from including God's perfectness in their classes. Individuals at Union genuinely care for each other, want to bear each other's burdens, and see each other grow in their walk with Christ."

Physical Therapist, OrthoSouth, Memphis, Tenn.

"Union's rigorous coursework prepared me for success in graduate school. Not only were the classes challenging and informative, but they were fundamental and foundational in my pursuit to become a physical therapist."

"Union reinforced my need of the person of Jesus Christ at the personal level, but I also learned the importance of living in gospel-centered community. Union was instrumental in my faith because it taught me what authentic gospel-centered community looked like."

Pediatric Therapies, Nashville

"Attending Union University was the best decision I could have made for my career and my future. In my four years of undergrad, I learned leadership skills, incredible friendships, and gained a great foundation for how to incorporate my faith into the working field. Being an exercise science major, I fully felt prepared for graduate school not only in the education and knowledge I gained, but also in the work ethic and group participation I learned. The friendships I built in the classroom and the encouragement I received from my professors paved the way for me to be successful in grad school and in my future career."

"After graduating from Union in 2014, I attended Belmont University (my first pick for OT school) where I graduated with my Doctorate in Occupational Therapy. I'm now married to my husband Robbie, and we live south of Nashville in Thompson's Station. The week I graduated, I got my dream job offer to work at Pediatric Therapies in Nashville. Every day I thank the Lord for the path He led me on to attend Union and for the professors, friends, and mentors in my life that encouraged me along the way."
