Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice
Biography
Austin Camp, Pharm.D., BCCCP, BCPS received his B.S. degree from Union University and his Pharm.D. degree the Union University College of Pharmacy. He completed his PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee and received a teaching and learning certificate through the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Dr. Camp’s areas of interest include critical care, toxicology, and infectious diseases. As Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice, Dr. Camp teaches in courses such as Pharmacotherapy, Applied Therapeutics, and Clinical Laboratory Medicine while maintaining a practice site at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital’s Surgical ICU. Dr. Camp is an active member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine and American College of Clinical Pharmacy and serves as faculty advisor for the Student College of Clinical Pharmacy.
