Jackson Public Art Commission
JUST, Jackson Union Sculpture Tour, a sculpture tour organized and lead by faculty, staff, and students of Union University can be credited for the majority of the public sculptures in Downtown Jackson. In partnership with the Jackson Public Art Commission, the Department of Art proposes a project to assist the City of Jackson in cleaning and maintaining public sculpture in downtown Jackson and at Shirlene Mercer Park. The project will assist our city while also providing professional experience for interested art students.

Union University - Trails
About 10 year's ago we constructed a bridge on the Union Trails as part of a Campus and Community Day project. Storms and the weather have damaged the bridge (railing missing) and the surface has degraded. The plan for this project is to re-build the bridge on the Union Trails by replacing old boards.
