Simply stated an escape room is an adventure! Adventurers are locked in 1 of our 4 rooms and given the goal working together to escape. How do you escape? Groups will solve puzzles, hunt for clues, and ultimately try to find the key that will lead to their escape. Do you have what it takes to escape in 45 minutes?
Escape Rooms are a partnership between the Union University Student Activities Council and RIFA. 100% of the proceeds from this event go to benefit RIFA's Snack Backpack Ministry which works to fight food insecurity by providing kid-friendly, easy-to-prepare, nutritious food items for children who are at risk of going hungry on Saturdays and Sundays. Adventurers pay $5 per person to experience an escape room. 100% of those payments go to RIFA. However, it gets better! If you can escape your room in 45 minutes or less then we will match your payment. That means you will still be paying $5, but $10 will actually go to RIFA! We will also have leaderboards for each room and the group with the best time for each room will receive a prize at the end of the week.

Q: How do I play and pay?
Simply click a room picture above and then click the "book this room" button at the bottom of the page. You will be prompted to pay at the time you sign up with debit or credit card.
We recommend that one person sign-up and pay for the group.
Q: How much time do I have to escape?
Each group will have exactly 45 minutes to escape their room.
Q: How many people can be in a room at one time?
A: Our rooms are designed for 4-6 to players.
Q: If I don't have 4 players in my group can I still sign up?
A: You can absolutely sign up for a room with 1-3 players. However, we may fill up the room with more adventurers so that as many people as possible can play. It takes a minimum of 3 people for us to open up a room.
Q: What if I just want to play with people I know?
A: If you and your friends or family want a room to yourself make sure you have a minimum of 4 people. If you sign up with 4 people the room will be reserved and we will not add more adventurers.
Q: Is there an age limit?
A: Escape Rooms is recommended for ages 12 and up, but anyone is welcome to play.
Q: What if I need to leave the room before the time is up?
A: All rooms are video monitored and systems are in place for anyone to leave a room anytime they want. However, if you leave a room during a game you will not be able to return. You also will not be able to qualify for a leaderboard.
Q: Is it true that I can't have my cell phone in the room?
A: This is true. Cell phones, cameras, and any recording device will be collected ahead of time and safely stored while you play. We can also store any other items that you don't wish to take into the rooms.
Q: Are any of the rooms scary?
A: No, our rooms are meant to be fun and challenging and not scary. At no point will there be things jumping out at you or trying to scare you.

A: Let's see if you can escape first, then we will talk about prizes.
