Faculty Piano Recital: Terry McRoberts
February 19, 2013: 7:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Terry McRoberts will be presenting his annual faculty piano recital on Tuesday, February 19 at 7:30 p.m. in the Hartley Recital Hall. The program will begin with Dame Myra Hess’ arrangement of Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring. Variations on “Awariguli” will be performed in celebration of the sixtieth birthday of Chen Yi later this year, and the centerpiece of the program will be the Brahms piano pieces of opus 118. Works by Bach, Mendelssohn, and Debussy round out the program, which is free and open to the public.
