Carls-Schwerdfeger History Lecture: George Herring

Dr. George Herring, Professor Emeritus at the University of Kentucky, will speak about "Vietnam: The War that Never Seems to Go Away." In his talk, Professor Herring will focus on why the Vietnam War’s influence has remained persistent and pervasive, even after the events of 9/11. His lecture is free and open to the public. Dr. will also deliver a daytime lecture on "The Reluctant Warrior: LBJ as Commander in Chief."
