2nd Annual Black History Month Program
February 20, 2009: 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
On Friday, Feb. 20th, Union University will present its 2nd Annual Black History Month celebration. This year's theme is "Why We Celebrate!" The keynote speaker will be Mr. Harrell Carter, President of the Jackson-Madison County NAACP. Mr. Carter will focus on the life of Carter G. Woodson, Founder of Black History Month. The Mosaic Gospel Choir along with alumnus Will Gray will perform music selections that will surely inspire everyone in attendance. Hors d'oeuvres will be served from 5:00-5:30 pm and the program will begin at 5:30 pm and end at 6:30 pm. Please rsvp to 731.661.5421.
