Union University presents its third annual Black History Month Program on Friday, Feb. 12 beginning at 3 pm. Our keynote speaker is Dr. Jeff Wilson, Assistant Professor of Education in the University of Memphis Department of Leadership. Dr. Wilson has been published in the Journal of Diversity in Higher Education, The College Student Affairs Journal, The Black Collegian, and the Journal of College Student Development. The program will also feature music by the Mosaic Gospel Choir; Patricia Porter, pianist; and Dorthy Okpebholo, Violist. This year's Black History Month theme is "Black Collegians: Past, Present, and Future." Hors d'oeuvres will be served beginning at 3 pm; the program begins at 3:30 pm.
