Title: Augustine, Aquinas, and Asimov: a Christian view on the creation of artificial moral agents
Speaker: Dr. Gene Rohrbaugh – Associate Professor of Computer Science, Messiah College
Gene Rohrbaugh is an associate professor of computer science at Messiah College. Rohrbaugh holds a BA in Modern Languages and a BS in Computer Science from Millersville University of Pennsylvania, as well as an MA and PhD in Linguistics from the University of Texas (Austin). His recent research is in the area of Machine Ethics, a discipline that explores moral aspects in the behavior of increasingly autonomous machines.
