Social Work: Remember Me Commemorative Walk & Screening of Heaven's Rain

The Remember Me Commemorative Walk is a free community event for survivors of homicide loss to honor their loved ones.
Special Guest Speaker: Brooks Douglass, 2011 recipient of the Ronald Reagan Public Policy Award for Victims of Crime by the Department of Justice. Mr. Douglass is also a former Oklahoma Senator who introduced landmark victim rights legislation, and he wrote and produced Heaven’s Rain, a film about the murder of his parents and his journey toward justice and forgiveness.
Special Screening: Heaven's Rain will be shown at 7pm. After the film, Brooks Douglass will lead a question and answer session.
