Poetry Reading: Kevin Brown

Dr. Brown’s reading is part of the schedule of events for Union’s 22nd annual Creative Writing Workshop for West Tennessee high school students.
He is a Professor of English in the Department of Language and Literature at Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee.
Dr. Brown has published two full-length collections of poems, A Lexicon of Lost Words (winner of the Violet Reed Haas Prize for Poetry) and Exit Lines, as well as two chapbooks: Abecedarium and Holy Days: Poems, (winner of the Split Oak Press Chapbook Competition). He also has published a memoir, Another Way: Finding Faith, Then Finding It Again.
The reading will begin at 1:00 p.m. in Harvey Auditorium, located in the Barefoot Student Union building. A book signing will follow.
The reading is free and open to the public.
