JACKSON, Tenn. — Oct. 1, 2010 — More than 800 family members from several states are registered for Union University’s Family Weekend activities Oct. 1-2.
Scheduled activities for the weekend include optional workshops on Friday afternoon, the Chi Omega Make-A-Wish cookout, movie night and sibling sleepover on Friday night, president’s brunch on Saturday morning, family swim time on Saturday afternoon and All Sing Saturday evening at 7 p.m. in the G.M. Savage Memorial Chapel.
Family members may also attend chapel, accompany their students to class and watch a full slate of intramural games, in addition to action from Union’s cross country and soccer teams.
“We hope this is a wonderful chance for families to reconnect with their students and learn more about their experience at Union,” said Joy Moore, Union’s director of student programs.
