What's at the Helpdesk

Detailed information about what's housed at the Helpdesk.  Refer to SLA Handbook (p. 18-22) for specific information on what's where and guidelines for usage.  (Note:  Acrobat Reader 3.0 or higher must be installed on your computer to read the handbook!)

Handling Inventory/Supplies

One of the duties of the SLA is to handle requests for such items as paper and  printer cartridges.  These supplies are kept in the large supply cabinet in lab C-2. 

Computing Services no longer purchases computer supplies for campus departments.  If a student makes a request to purchase a diskette or zip disk at the Helpdesk, politely direct them to Union Station (who sells diskettes only).  Zip disks must be purchased from a source outside the University.
