Title: "The Laban Technique: Exploring a Physical Approach to Character"
The beating of a human heart, the graceful orbiting pathway of the earth around the sun, the vibrations of tiny microorganisms, and a small child reaching for a favorite toy... What do all these have in common? They all involve movement. Movement is all around us, all the time. Together we will explore how movement can influence and reveal the human psyche, opening doors in the exploration and revelation of character.
Presented by Chad Daniel, M.F.A.
This workshop is free of Charge to all Union Students and Faculty
Please Sign up outside of David Burke’s office in the PAC.
Please bring a pencil, an open mind and lots of energy! (Attire should be suitable for creative movement)
