Barefoot Student Union Building, Barefoots Joe

We are very excited to announce that we will be showing The Tree of Life in Barefoots Joe on October 27 at 8PM. The Tree of Life is the newest masterpiece by legendary and reclusive film director Terrence Malick, starring Brad Pitt, Sean Penn, and Jessica Chastain. Robert Ebert called the film "a prayer." Summarizing the film is next to impossible, but in an attempt to pique your interest, this might give you a very vague idea of what the film is like: A visually stunning journey that encompasses all of life. A new way of approaching both film and storytelling.

The following night, October 28, at the New City Arts Center, There will be a panel discussion on the film as well as an additional screening of the film. The panel discussion is at 7PM and is FREE and open to the public, followed by a reception and a screening of the film. There is a $5 charge for the Friday night screening, which includes coffee and dessert.
