Test Proctoring

CAS offers proctoring services for faculty to provide extended testing time in a distraction-reduced environment for traditional undergraduate students with ADA accommodations. For added security, each proctored exam will take place in a camera-monitored room. All proctored exams should be requested at least two full business days prior to the scheduled exam. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Vernetta Anderson at vanderson@uu.edu or 731-661-5976.

Test Proctoring Policy for Students Receiving Testing Accommodations

If a student fails to show up to a proctored exam previously scheduled in the Center for Academic Success, the staff will alert the professor and return the blank copy of the test to the professor's office. If the professor decides to allow the student to reschedule the exam, then the professor has the option to proctor the exam himself/herself, or he/she may submit a new test proctoring request and the Center for Academic Success will proctor the rescheduled exam. In the event that a professor allows a student to make-up a missed exam, the student will still receive his or her appropriate testing accommodations. If a student shows up late to a proctored exam, the Center for Academic Success will still proctor the exam; however, the student will be unable to make-up the time he or she missed.
