New Student Orientation and Welcome Week Leaders
Each year, New Student Orientation (NSO) and Welcome Week Leaders are selected to lead a group of approximately 20 new students through Union's orientation process. These leaders play an important role in helping new students connect and meet other students inside and outside of the classroom. These leaders help new students learn about the university and opportunities they'll have while in college.
The selection of NSO and Welcome Week Leaders takes place each spring. Students selected to serve in this leadership role should be students who take advantage of the university experience and serve as positive role models to other students. Students interested in holding this position must submit an application and participate in an interview process. They'll also have several training sessions throughout the spring semester.
