After you have completed all necessary applications, manage your current awards and explore other opportunities.
Use Self-Service to access your financial aid and review your awards
Your up-to-date financial aid can be viewed online, which requires your University email address and private password. (If you are a new student and need Self-Service assistance, learn more about Success Start from I.T.) Sign into Financial Aid Self-Service and use the steps below to view your financial aid. To view your financial aid through Self-Service:
- Select "Review and accept your Financial Aid Award Package" from the Checklist, then click Submit.
- Make sure you select the correct academic year. Once the correct academic year is selected, review your financial aid and make any decisions needed on accepting, declining or reducing your offered financial aid.
- Once you have taken action on all awards, make sure to submit your decisions.

Consider our monthly payment plan
The Nelnet Business Solutions (formerly FACTS) payment plan gives families and option of budgeting monthly payment. Please apply for a payment plan online at uu.edu/paymybill or with the Student Accounts office at 731.661.5071.
Review your student account information
- After registering for classes at Union, charges will be debited to your student account. In addition to your charges, any awarded financial aid may appear as a "pending" credit on your student account, until aid is disbursed.
- Log in to Self-Service to access your Student Account information.
- Select "Student Finance"
- Select "View Account and Make Payments" for general Student Account information.
- Select "Direct Deposit Banking Information" to set up Banking Information for refunds or for student employment payroll. Contact Tina Giddens in the Office of Business and Financial Services at tgiddens@uu.edu if you have any questions concerning Direct Deposit.
Receiving your loan disbursement
An email will be sent to your Union email address when the loan funds are credited to your student account from the Student Financial Aid Office.
The email will give you an anticipated credit refund date. You will receive a credit refund only IF you have a credit balance.
The Office of Business and Financial Services will also send you an email when they have deposited funds into your banking account.
