Faculty Position in Pharmacology
Union University is accepting applications for a 12-month, tenure-track faculty position in Pharmacology in the Pharmaceutical Sciences Department of the School of Pharmacy. Rank assignment commensurate with education/experience.

Providence Hall, a three-story, 57,000 square foot building, is home to the School of Pharmacy and Center for Excellence in Health Care Practice. Over 8,000 square feet of fully equipped laboratory space is dedicated for independent and collaborative research in the areas of Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmacology and Pharmaceutics.
The pharmacy curriculum, through didactic and experiential research electives, offers a unique opportunity to engage Pharm.D. students in research activities.
Duties include developing and delivering didactic course material in the Pharm.D. curriculum; contributing to curriculum development and implementation; assisting in assessment activities; pursuing both scholarly and service activities of the School, University, and community; conducting classroom and laboratory instruction; and modeling faculty-student research.
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Ph.D. in Pharmacology/Toxicology or related field is required. Postdoctoral training, teaching experience in a School of Pharmacy or a professional degree in pharmacy is preferred.
Successful candidates must be professing Christians who are active members of a local church, who enthusiastically support Union University’s Identity, Mission and Core Values, and can articulate a Christian worldview in their work and life.
