Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in Education, is dedicated to scholarship and excellence in education. Kappa Delta Pi was founded in 1911 and has since grown to include approximately 600 chapters, worldwide. The Society as a community of scholars is pledged to worthy ideals: recognizing scholarship and excellence in education, promoting the development and dissemination of worthy educational ideas and practices, enhancing the continuous growth and leadership of its diverse membership, fostering inquiry and reflection on significant educational issues, and maintaining a high degree of professional fellowship.
