Become a Resident Advisor

We in Residence Life are committed to providing on-campus living and learning accommodations staffed by student personnel who are responsible, caring and committed leaders. If you are interested in becoming a residence advisor and have lived in one of Union's residence facilities for at least one semester, feel free to look over the job description. The information provided in the job description is designed to help you decide if becoming an RA is right for you.

Special Note:  Employee dependents, recipients of Presidential or Provost Scholarships, tuition exchange students or any student whose total awards would exceed room, board and tuition after the addition of the RA stipend are not eligible for financial compensation. However, these students are still encouraged to apply for this leadership position. Students who are unsure if they are eligible for the RA stipend may contact the Office of Student Financial Planning at 661-5015 for clarification.

We are currently not accepting RA Applications
