College of Pharmacy

Jan 11, 2020 - Eight students and two faculty members went on a medical mission trip to Tegucigalpa, Honduras this month. They partnered with World Gospel Outreach to provide medical, dental, and pharmacy services to over 1,300 people during the week. They also washed children’s hair and applied lice treatment when needed. Additionally, they had the opportunity to share the Gospel with each person before they left the clinic site. The team also helped install clean water filters for two families in a village near one of the churches they visited. It was humbling to the group to see the appreciation from each person for the services they were provided. They also enjoyed attending a Honduras church service and visiting World Gospel Outreach’s children’s home.
