New student orientation is not just for freshmen. Union has tailored small groups and specifically trained leaders who will work with the new transfer students. Find out more about the full new student orientation experience. If you are a commuting transfer who would like to participate in the full orientation experience, please contact Jason Castles (jcastles@uu.edu) in the Office of Student Leadership & Engagement.
The vast majority of the students who begin taking classes during the winter are transfer students, though it is certainly not uncommon for a first-year student to start then either. For both groups, we have designed a one-evening dinner to communicate all the essential information a new Union student needs to know.
Various members of the faculty and staff from across campus will be available to provide the information you need to know as well as answering any questions you have.
